Willamette Valley Fiddle Contest

A decades-long tradition of lively competition

The Willamette Valley Fiddle Competition is one of the longest-running competitions on the West Coast. Each year, it brings national champions from all over the United States who are looking to get certified for the National Oldtime Fiddlers' Contest.

This year's contest is on Saturday, August 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Oak Grove Stage.

Witness the talent

For those looking just to watch, stop by throughout the contest to witness fiddlers of all ages putting their skills to the test. Judges are nationally recognized fiddlers who share their expertise -- some even perform!

Please note: there will be a 1-hour break from 12-1 for lunch and the 4-H Awards Ceremony on the Oak Grove Stage.

Join the fun

Registration opens at 8 a.m. for those looking to compete. Warm up space is available in the Oak Grove. Just look for the stringed instruments!
