Dear Foundation Friends:
Won’t you join us this summer as we gather under the trees to tell the tales of Fairs past and make plans for the future of the Benton County Fairgrounds newly renamed the Benton County Event Center & Fairgrounds (BCEC&F)? Ambitious plans have been made as the Event Center & Fairgrounds charts its course forward while working to honor the past.
Our annual Foundation Dinner is a great time to come learn about the new plans, see old friends and make new ones. It’s also the time we celebrate the successes of the last year. The Benton County Fair Foundation, using your donations, helped the BCEC&F continue to improve its buildings, operations and outreach to the community.
Over the last year, Foundation funds, donated to the BCEC&F, helped fund security cameras throughout the grounds, improve the Pastega Holiday Lights route with chip sealing, assisted with the installation of an electric, roll-up door serving the 4H Exhibit Barn/future wedding/event space and perhaps most importantly the Foundation participated in focus groups and helped fund the Master Plan. Exciting plans that we all are looking forward to seeing implemented.
This year’s dinner is your opportunity to come out for a great night of Fair & Rodeo fun and learn more about what the future brings while also sharing the tales that make the Fairgrounds special to you. If there is someone you want to remember or honor especially, we will also have folks on hand to discuss the Foundation Giving Tree (located in the Auditorium Building).
If I don’t get to see you at the Dinner, thank you for the support you’ve given the past; your donation makes the difference.
