Asleep at the Wheel - Wed., Aug. 2nd - 7:30PM

Asleep at the Wheel will open the Benton County Fair with their great style of country music. Ray Benton founded the band in Paw Paw, West Virginia, 47 years ago. Now based in Austin, Texas, Asleep at the Wheel has received 10 Grammy awards and 20 singles have hit the Billboard country charts. The band has produced 20 studio albums, their most recent “Still the King: Celebrating the Music of Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys.” Don’t miss this chance to see a legend in the world of country music.

Join us on Thursday for smokin’ blues and cold brews at our first Blues and Brews night! Launching the Benton Oaks Tap House off the Main Stage Lawn, we will be serving great local beer and cider. Lightnin’ Willie, winner of two California Blues Challenges, will get you up and dancing with his powerhouse guitar performance.

Willie will play two sets - 7:00-8:00PM and 8:30-9:45PM

Briana Renea - Fri., Aug. 4th - 7:00PM

Briana Renea comes by her country roots naturally, growing up on a rural farm in Canby, Oregon in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. You can’t miss fiery haired Briana’s high-energy when she performs. Her musical style is greatly influenced by her childhood growing up on 80’s rock and 90’s country. Her music blurs the lines between rock and country.

She released her EP “Red Lips White Lies” in May 2015 and has just released a new EP Chasin’ Trouble”. Her hard work is paying off, having her new single “Chasin’ Trouble” placed in the Top 40 for the Nashville Songwriters Association International’s (NSAI) second quarter of 2016. Off of her first EP “Red Lips White Lies” her song “Dirt Side” was chosen for the top 12 Best of NSAI Spring Training award.

The Cadillac Three - Fri., Aug. 4th - 8:30 PM

The Cadillac Three have launched a movement in country music, and they will bring their hard-rocking live show to the Benton County Fair Main Stage Friday night. The trio of singer-guitarist Jaren Johnston, lap-steel player Kelby Ray and drummer Neil Mason are brothers in music and their “hell yeah!” attitude.
